The Bridge Academy Cohort Program is a strategic workforce pipeline initiative led by DeSoto County Schools in partnership with the Southaven Chamber of Commerce. The program is designed to identify and develop high-potential students through direct engagement with the local business community. Participating students are immersed in a structured cohort model that provides exposure to regional industry, professional skill development, and real-world workplace expectations.
Through scheduled sessions, business tours, and executive-level interaction, students gain a clear understanding of career pathways available within our local economy. This partnership ensures alignment between education and industry, strengthens our talent pipeline, and reinforces our long-standing commitment to preparing students to transition successfully from the classroom to the workforce.
